Tipperary took on Galway in the second round of the Very National League Camogie League, at The Ragg GAA Grounds in Tipperary.
The Tipperary women came out on top, scoring 3-10 to Galway's 1-13 in round two in the Very National League Camogie Division 1A.
Tipperary woman Eimear McGrath scored 3-7 for the Tipperary victory, robbing Galway's bid of a third consecutive title.
Eimear McGrath claimed her hat-track in the 42nd minute, and with eight points between the teams, Galway were up against it.
The Tipperary team, who lost their opening tie to Waterford last week, have now given themselves a chance of making the final.
