Former Tipperary football captain and All-Star Conor Sweeney announced his retirement from inter-county football yesterday following a glittering 15-year career.
The Ballyporeen clubman became the first Tipp man to lift the Munster crown in 85 years during their 2020 run and picked up an All-Star that same year for his efforts.
