BREAKING: Tipperary GAA club withdraw from championship in statement to County Board

Meanwhile, a club game has been called off on Sunday at the last minute

Kilruane MacDonaghs GAA club is withdrawing from the U19A football and conceding the semi-final game this coming Tuesday night against Fethard.

In an email, seen by tipperarylive.ie, the club state: "We are going to concede the U19 football county semi-final to Fethard. Unfortunately, injuries and players away in college have left us severely depleted.

"We apologise to the CCC for withdrawing from the championship, and we wish Fethard the best of luck in the County semi-final."

Meanwhile, the county Premier junior football championship round 3 game, Cashel King Cormacs v Moyle Rovers, due to be played on Sunday in Fethard, will not go ahead.

Cashel King Cormacs are unable to field.
