Kellogg’s, in partnership with Dunnes Stores, has announced that Rockwell Rovers GAA club were the winners of the Ultimate Croke Park Experience competition.

The competition was run through Dunnes Stores outlets nationwide and was launched in April to coincide with the launch of the Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps.

This initiative, part of Kellogg’s ongoing commitment to fostering community spirit and a love for Gaelic Games, offered one lucky school or GAA club an unforgettable day out at Croke Park.

Rockwell Rovers GAA embarked on an extraordinary trip to Croke Park, with 30 juvenile club members and five guardians/coaches taking part. The prize included return coach transfers from Rockwell Rovers GAA club to Croke Park, ensuring a seamless and exciting journey; and a comprehensive two-hour guided GAA Stadium Tour, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes access.

This included a walk through the service tunnel, visits to the dressing rooms and warm-up areas, and the thrilling opportunity to stand pitchside.

A delicious lunch at Croke Park’s Blackthorne Café provided a perfect break to refuel and reflect on the day’s adventures.
This competition, promoted through Dunnes Stores nationwide, aimed to engage young people with the rich heritage and vibrant community of the GAA.

The overwhelming response highlighted the passion for Gaelic Games across the country.

This initiative is a key part of Kellogg’s long-standing partnership with the GAA Cúl Camps, now in its 14th year, demonstrating a consistent commitment to supporting grassroots Gaelic Games.

The Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps are action-packed and fun-filled weeks that provide children aged 6 to 13 with invaluable opportunities to develop their skills, make new friends, and foster a lifelong love for Gaelic Games.

Barry Shortall of Rockwell Rovers GAA expressed the club’s immense excitement: “Winning this competition is an absolute dream for our young players. Croke Park is the pinnacle for any GAA fan, and to be able to offer this once-in-a-lifetime experience to our juvenile members is truly special.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Kellogg’s and Dunnes Stores for this fantastic opportunity”.
