Ten people are on trolleys waiting for bed at Tipperary University Hospital

639 admitted patients are waiting for beds across the country this morning, according to today’s INMO (Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation) Trolley Watch.

473 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 166 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.

According to the figures, ten people are waiting for a bed in the emergency department of Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel.

This figure is relatively low, although four hospitals - University Hospital Waterford, Midland Regional Hospital in Portlaoise, Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore and Our Lady's Hospital in Navan - have no patients on trolleys.
