Death of Tipperary publican whose premises was famous for its music and dancing

The late Denis Brennan was the owner of a public house in Nine Mile House which was famous near and far for its music and dancing sessions.

We extend sympathy to Mrs. Martina Clancy Shanakyle (nee Brennan, Nine Mile House) and her sister Samantha on the death of their father Denis Brennan.


Martina’s sons James and Denis are both former members of St. Patrick’s GAA Club (Drangan/Cloneen) under age teams while Martina[s husband Paddy gave years of service to Juvenile GAA and Badminton clubs and won South Tipperary finals in Junior Hurling and Senior Set Dancing.


The late Denis Brennan was the owner of a public house in Nine Mile House which was famous near and far for its music and dancing sessions. May his soul rest in peace.
