Members of the South East Mountain rescue eventually came to the aid of a lost walker yesterday morning, despite having a significant delay.
A member of the public blocked the easiest and quickest route of access to the mountain path, with their car placed directly in the way, preventing rescuers access to the trailhead.
Fortunately an alternative route was found quickly and the walker was found in plenty of time.
The Se Mountain Rescue are kindly asking that users consider both emergency and landowner access when parking.
