LATEST: We Just Want to Swim Templemore group to meet with Minister in Leinster House today
The We Just Want to Swim Templemore campaign is to meet with the Minister for Justice Simon Harris today.
The meeting was organised by Tipperary TD Jackie Cahill and will be held in Leinster House.
Speaking ahead of today’s meeting, Mr Cahill said:
“Deirdre Ryan and her team have been doing great work in keeping the issue of local access to the swimming pool in the Garda College in Templemore at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
“I am please to be supporting this group, having originally organised for Deirdre to meet An Tánaiste, Micheál Martin TD, during his time as Taoiseach, and we will be bringing this campaign to Dublin and to Leinster House when Deirdre and the team meet with the Justice Minister, Simon Harris.”
