One Tipperary town is going 'really green' for this year's St Patrick's Day Parade

The theme this year St Patrick's Day Parade in Cahir is ‘Biodiversity’ and the environment, so it’s a broad theme to work with.

This is a call out for the St Patrick’s Day parade! We are asking all local groups, individuals, the community and businesses to get ready for the St Patrick’s Day parade that will take place in Cahir at 12 noon on Friday, March 17.

The parade has been good in recent years and this year we would love to see all groups involved in our National Day. Enter your float by calling Andy on 086 360 9110 or drop into Pat in The Heritage.

Cahir has had some great floats over the years and great entertainment for an hour through the streets.

A lot goes into the organising of the parade, so hopefully you can get involved and get dressed for the occasion and enter a float. You don’t really have to stick to the theme as there will be topical prizes too but the main thing is bee part of the day.
