BREAKING: 100  new jobs announced for Clonmel

Sepam, a Clonmel family-owned company, have announced the creation of 100 new jobs.
The company expansion in Clonmel and the new jobs were announced at Government buildings on Tuesday night.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, Leo Clancy, CEO Enterprise Ireland and Senator Garret Ahearn made the announcement.

Recruitment has started for the new jobs at the Clonmel head office of the engineering and construction company.
“We are delighted to be expanding our workforce in Clonmel. This investment is a great vote of confidence in the workforce here. This is a win-win situation for Clonmel,” said Gus Kearney, Sepam Chairman.

The new jobs will include design engineering, commercial and administration and recruitment has already commenced.
This planned expansion is very important for the long-term growth and continued development of the company in existing industry sectors and in the new emerging energy transition market.

Sepam, founded in 1976, is a global engineering and project management company with its head office located in Clonmel.
Sepam has vast experience managing and delivering project solutions to the engineering and contracting industry worldwide.

The company currently has operations in Europe US and Middle East and in the Asian markets.
Gus Kearney, Chairman of Sepam said he was delighted to be able to make such an announcement.

"This commitment from Sepam is to further establish Clonmel and Ireland as a centre of excellence for engineering where we can deliver large-scale, multi-discipline projects directly from our engineering office in Clonmel,” said Gus Kearney(pictured above).

Fine Gael Senator Garret Ahearn, who is spokesperson for Enterprise, Trade & Employment Affairs, welcomed the news.
“I’m delighted that Sepam are expanding their head office in Clonmel with 100 extra jobs. The news is a fantastic boost for the town and the county of Tipperary and I hope a sign of things to come. I’m sure they will have no problem filling the new roles with the wealth of talent in the area,” he said.
Senator Ahearn said the news was a real sign of confidence from the company in the town and in particular with the people of Clonmel.
