Rosary beads
The public are invited to take part in a recital of the Rosary prayers at Kickham Barracks, Plaza in Clonmel at 4pm on Saturday, May 13.
It will be among over 500 multicultural public square Rosary rallies taking place across Ireland that day to commemorate the 106th anniversary of the first Marian apparition at Fatima on May 13, 1917.
The series of public prayer events are being coordinated and sponsored by the Ireland Needs Fatima campaign run by the Irish Society for Christian Civilisation.
All are welcome to participate.
The number of Catholics who attend Mass in Ireland has reduced over the last number of years.
This public square Rosary rally is a great way to reach out to non-practicing Catholics or non-Catholics. If they see you praying in a public place, they may be moved to reflect.
If you are willing/available to help with this Rosary Rally in Clonmel, in honour of Mary Our Blessed Mother, please call or text Jimmy at (086) 2597 2075 or email jimmyryanwio@gmail.com.
