Well-known author and journalist to speak in Thurles Library for the Bealtaine festival

Valerie Cox will speak next Thursday at Thurles library

Well-known author, broadcaster and journalist Valerie Cox will speak in Thurles Library next Thursday the 11th of May. The talk will get underway at 11am as part of the library’s Bealtaine festival of events.

Valerie has worked with all the national newspapers & spent 24 years working with RTÉ on Morning Ireland, Drivetime and on the Today Show with Pat Kenny and Sean O’Rourke.

She has also written 6 books, the most recent ‘Independence Memories’ was published in 2021. This is a FREE event at the library but booking is essential beforehand.  You can contact Thurles Library about the event on 052-6166131 and ensure you get to book your place today.
