On Saturday, June 10, Ireland’s ultimate obstacle course, Red Bull Conquer The Castle, will make its eagerly-anticipated return to the Rock of Cashel when hundreds of thrill seekers from across Ireland will take on the gruelling track.

Places are filling up fast and those interested are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. A physically demanding 2.5km course awaits participants, with over 20 ruthless obstacles to hurdle, from balance beams to cargo net climbs and stone wall crossings.

The competition is open to those aged 16 and older, and those interested can register by visiting www.RedBull.ie/ ConquerTheCastle.

Many competitors will return to Cashel having tasted the action at last year’s groundbreaking event, the first of its kind at one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks. Participants will again compete for a seat at the high table, with prizes for the top three finishers in the male and female categories on offer.

Unlike last year’s two-day event, the competition will now be decided on the day, meaning participants and spectators alike are in for a blitz of relentless action at a contest like no other. Competitors will take on the course in waves, with the first group setting off at 10am, as remaining groups follow suit every hour, before the last of the six running groups heads out at 3pm.
