Tributes paid to man who was a 'familiar figure to all who lived in Holycross'

HOLYCROSS NOTES

It was with sadness that we learned of the passing of Tom (Farmer) Heaphy, Abbeyside, Holycross.

Tom was a familiar figure to all who lived in Holycross, he was one of the committee members involved in organising the Holycross Horse Show and the local Thurles and District Vintage Club was a large part of his life with his colleagues from the club paying tribute to him as his coffin was brought to the Abbey for burial.

Predeceased by his mother Margaret, father Andy, sister Pauline and brother-in-law John, we offer our sympathy to his wife Margaret, son Andy, sisters Maura, Stella, Margaret and Patricia, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law family and friends.

Peace to his kindly soul.
