West Tipperary group heading for Dáil Éireann - it will be one right busy day!

SENIOR CITIZENS TOURS

Preparations are all completed for the Knockavilla Community Council's next senior citizen group tour which takes place on Wednesday, June 14. As usual, the ever efficient Cotter Coaches will provide the transport. Bus will be in Knockavilla from 9am, departing at 9.30am. Payment will be collected on the morning, with the option of card payment available.

Our first stop is to the Silken Thomas restaurant in Kildare for morning refreshments. Then it's straight to Dublin where we will have the option of strolling around the city or take in a visit to The National Museum and Art Gallery and other sites in the area.

It's back then to Bushwells Hotel for lunch, and then onto Leinster House for our security passes and into Dáil Éireann as guests of Senator Garret Ahearn and the help of Cllr. Declan Burgess, for our guided tour. This will be a longer day than previous trips, but promises to be another most enjoyable outing with expected home time approx. 8.30pm.

This trip is fully booked out, and we are planning another outing in August, destination not sorted yet, and already this is nearly booked up. Thanks to everyone that comes along on these outings, and makes them such a wonderful day.
