Sharlene Mawdsley cut a satisfied figure after finishing 7th in her 400m semi-final at the World Athletics Championships last Monday night.
She took to the track representing her country, this time in the semi-final of the 400m, running a good race overall but just missed out on a place in the final in what was a fast-paced race.
Sharlene finished seventh of eight in that 400m semi-final. Now the focus will switch to the action ahead in the coming days.
Her Championships are set to continue at the weekend when the rising star will compete in the Women's 4x400m Relay.
See below for her post-match interview after the race last Monday night.
