Thieves steal diesel and bags of coal from county Tipperary homes

Gardaí are investigating the theft of coal from a home in the Bansha area and have charged a man in relation to the theft of diesel from a house in Tipperary Town.

An estimated €50 worth of diesel was stolen from a tank at a house on Tipperary’s Dundrum Road on Friday night, October 5.

A man, aged in his 40s, appeared before Nenagh District Court last Friday charged in connection with the theft.

Meanwhile, six bags of coals were stolen from a home at Ballyvirane, Bansha between 9pm on Friday, October 6 and 10.30am on Saturday, October 7.
