The Belle Voci choir from Clonmel who recently took part in an international choral festival in Italy
Belle Voci (Clonmel) recently travelled to Vasto on the Adriatic coast in Italy to take part in an International Choral Festival. The choir sang in four different venues over three days, sharing the stage with a choir from Slovenia and three local Italian choirs from Atri, Rosetta and Vasto itself.
Belle Voci were so well looked after by the organisers of the festival, choral events and all the lovely locals that they met. They were even invited to meet the mayor of Rosetta in the Town Hall before our concert.
The choir wishes to thank everyone who made this whole experience possible... Tipperary County Council for their help with funding and everyone who helped with our various fundraising efforts, Eamon O'Malley for his tireless work in teaching and rehearsing us, Sue Esplan for precision perfect planning and Guillaume Eme of Choral Events for a memorable few days.
Belle Voci now extend an open invitation to everyone to join them in Ferryhouse Church Friday evening, December 15 for their Christmas Concert during which they will be raising money for Hygiene Hub, a charity which aims to combat hygiene poverty, with branches in Tipperary and other counties around Ireland.
