A Book of Condolence is now open in Clonmel for Tlipperary singing legend Shane MacGowan

A Book of Condolence is now open at the Clonmel Civic and Municipal District Office to allow people  extend their sympathy to the family of the late Shane MacGowan.

The Book of Condolence opened at 9.30 on Monday December 4.

"In view of Shane MacGowan’s close ties with Tipperary,  Books of Condolence will open at the Clonmel  Civic and Municipal District Office in Tipperary from 9.30 a.m. on Monday 4thDecember, 2023 and will remain open for one week   A Book of Condolence will also be available online at www.tipperarycoco.iefrom Monday 4thDecember, 2023," said the Mayor of Clonmel Cllr Richie Molloy.
