First-year girls soccer team, Coláiste Phobal Ros Cré
Our First year girls got their soccer season off to a winning start on December 7 when they travelled to Newbridge to play Newbridge in the first round of the competition.
In atrocious weather conditions our girls battled hard and came out on top with a scoreline of 3-2.
Unfortunately, in their second-round match on Wednesday December 13, at home in Roscrea, they came up against fierce opposition in Loreto College, Kilkenny, who defeated our girls despite their best efforts.
We have some super talent coming through on this team, and we look forward to watching them represent the school for years to come.
