Tipp motorist arrested after speeding along with  positive test for cocaine and cannabis

Gardaí in Nenagh arrested a driver last night after it was discovered to be exceeding a speeding limit in the town, and the driver subsequently failed a drug test soon after.

Tipperary Roads Policing Unit monitoring speed compliance in a 50km/h zone in the Nenagh District detected the vehicle in question traveling at 81km/h.

The driver, an unaccompanied learner permit holder, was then arrested after returning a positive DrugWipe test for Cocaine and Cannabis. The vehicle was impounded as a result.
