Two women brought to Tipperary University Hospital following three-car collision

Two women have been taken to hospital following a three-car collision in Tipperary yesterday evening (January 23).

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene on the Cahir Road, Clonmel following the collision, which occurred before the Cashel roundabout at approximately 5.55pm.

The women were taken to Tipperary University Hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

According to PURE Radio Tipperary and Tipp FM, the collision was reportedly caused because of loose horses on the road.

However, Gardaí refused to comment on this, stating, "There is no further information available at this time."
