The Memories of Thurles People and Places exhibition was officially opened on Tuesday February 6.

The exhibition showcases the photography of the late Donal Sammon, owner of Sammon Pharmacy. The collection also includes artifacts from Donal’s pharmacy, housed in the historical Devlin’s Medical Hall on Liberty Square.

The exhibition was organised by the Sammon family to commemorate Donal’s 100th birthday.

The launch was well-attended,and has since then, the exhibition remains popular. The exhibition continues until 5pm on Tuesday, February 27.
