Tipperary Ladies Club celebrating their 50th anniversary with Mass and Dinner next week

Kilcash Ladies Club will celebrate 50 years of club activities in the parish this month.

Kilcash Ladies Club will celebrate 50 years of club activities in the parish this month.
The first meeting of the Kilcash Ladies Club was held on February 21, 1974.


The minutes book records that “a large group of 57 Ladies attended” and the following officers were elected.


President: Joan O’Gorman
Secretary: Ann O’Reilly
Treasurer: Betty Walsh
A Committee representing each area of the parish was also elected.
Mrs. C. Cashman, Toor
Mrs. C. O'Donovan, Kilcash
Mrs. M. Maher, Ballypatrick
Mrs. Muldoon, Kilnoracy/ Lisbalting
Mrs. K. Brennan, Seskin
Mrs. Mullins, Ballyknockane
Membership was £1 back then.


To celebrate this special occasion on Thursday, March 21 we will celebrate Mass at 7pm in Kilcash Church followed by a celebratory dinner in Kilcash Community Centre.
Three course meal will be provided at €30 per person.
All past, present members plus family and friends are cordially invited.
