It has just been announced this evening that Nenagh actor Daryl McCormack will be joining the cast of Knives Out 3.

The entertainment news outlet Variety has reported that the 31-year-old Irish actor is the latest suspect in director Rian Johnson’s latest in his murder mystery anthology series.

Daniel Craig is returning as the quirky detective Benoit Blanc in “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” as the third installment is officially titled.

Daryl will star alongside the previously announced additions of “Fleabag” actor Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, “Challengers” breakout Josh O’Connor, “Priscilla’s” Cailee Spaeny, Jeremy Renner and Mila Kunis.

Johnson is writing, directing and producing the third “Knives Out” mystery. “Wake Up Dead Man” goes into production this summer and is slated to be released by Netflix in 2025.

Daryl will also star alongside Normal People's Daisy Edgar Jones and Top Gun: Maverick's Glen Powell later this summer in 'Twisters' the follow-up to the 90's hit 'Twister'.
