No swing time for children in Tipperary village due to behaviour of senseless spoilsports

A swing in the Ardfinnan playground had had to be removed temporarily as the safety strap has stolen recently.

ARDFINNAN PLAYGROUND

The playground has been a huge hit with young children and their families since it opened. Recently a malfunction of a security gate caused the playground to be closed for a period of time and it was missed by those who use it regularly.

These breakdowns can happen and are par for the course.

What can be avoided is theft and vandalism. There is a swing specially for those children who can't use the normal swings and it comes with safety harnesses for the safety of the users.

Some bright spark(s) stole these safety straps meaning the swing had to be removed for safety reasons. These safety straps are expensive and hard to get so it looks like the swing is gone for the foreseeable future so a lot of children will miss their treat.

We ask those who took the straps to return them or if anyone knows of their whereabouts to let someone know where they are.

Thank You.

TIDY TOWNS
A massive well done to all the Friday night crew. The work they have done on the cemetery is unbelievable.
They did an incredible job cleaning, cutting grass etc., inside and did a great job painting the wall and gates.
Again a huge thanks to you all.
