The award is available to artists from under-represented backgrounds

Tipperary Tipperary Tipperary

Tipperary County Council Arts Office are now inviting applications for the Tipperary EDI Artist Practice Bursary Award 2024. One award is available to artists specifically from under-represented backgrounds and communities, including those based on gender, civil status, family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, race, membership of the Traveller Community and socio-economic status.

This Artist Practice Bursary Award (up to €5000) will offer the successful applicant the opportunity to focus on the development of their professional practice, develop a specific artistic project, or both. The purpose of this award is to highlight the value and benefits of engaging with one’s artistic practice and to provide an artist from an underrepresented background with the resources needed to support this process.

Closing date for submissions: 12 noon Friday 19th July 2024
