Tipperary musical legend to be honoured during arts festival

Clonmel Junction Arts Festival is honouring a musical legend.

The educational legacy of Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin takes place on Sunday 30 June at 1pm at the  Main Guard(free event).

A panel discussion sharing memories of Mícheál as an inspirational lecturer in UCC, and as the groundbreaking founder of Irish World Academy of Music and Dance in UL. Panel includes Helen Phelan, Director of Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at University of Limerick, composers Mel Mercier and Marian Ingoldsby, and Music Generation Tipperary’s Aidan O’Donnell.
