Motorcycle and car racing enthusiasts showcased their mighty machines at the Faugheen 50 Classic Motorsport Show that was enjoyed by close to 700 people in Faugheen village last Saturday.

The family day was organised by the Faugheen 50 Motorcycle Racing Supporters Club along with Carrick-on-Suir Motor Club and all proceeds from the event will be donated to the CRITICAL Carrick-on-Suir Community First Responders Group, whose members attended the show.

Faugheen 50 Supporters Club PRO Paul Power said they were delighted with the support the event received from the community.

“We normally run the Faugheen 50 Road Races that weekend but for insurance reasons we couldn’t this year but we still wanted to do something for the community,” he said.
