Gardaí are investigating the burglary of a pub on Tipperary Town's Main Street

A small quantity of alcohol was stolen in a late night break-in to a pub in Tipperary Town last Friday.

The pub located at Main Street was burgled sometime between 3am and 9am on July 26.

A Tipperary Town Garda Station spokesman said entry was gained to the premises by forcing open a door.

The garda spokesman appealed to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity on Tipperary’s Main Street in the early hours of last Friday to contact Tipperary Garda Station at (062) 80670.
