The flag days will be held in Clonmel from Friday-Sunday
The CARE Cancer Support Centre, Clonmel, is holding its flag days this coming weekend, Friday-Sunday, August 9-11.
As an independent cancer support centre, it is dependent on voluntary donations and fundraising to maintain its services for the people of Clonmel and South Tipperary.
The centre provides free and non judgemental support to people who have been diagnosed with cancer, are undergoing treatment or who have survived cancer.
This support extends to family members also.
This fundraiser will be of huge benefit to the centre and the public are requested to be as generous as possible.
The centre is very grateful to everyone for their support in the past and looks forward to this same support into the future.
People are requested to look out for the collection points throughout the town over the three days.
In addition to counselling and telephone support, the centre at 14, Wellington Street, offers reflexology and reiki for relaxation.
Throughout the year they hold a variety of workshops and classes such as art, yoga and mindfulness workshops.
A drop-in service is also available, and a fully accredited counsellor is on site at all times.
