The event has moved across the county from Dualla to a new site at Holycross

Tipperary Truck Show is set for a 10th anniversary event at new venue

The Tipperary Truck Show is on Saturday the 31st of August and Sunday the 1st of September.

After a disappointing truck show season for many in 2023, the organisers are delighted to announce that the Tipperary Truck show is back for 2024, bigger and better than ever on all hard standing ground.

This year’s show will take place on August 31st and September 1st in the new location at E41 HP98, known to many locally as “the old block yard Holycross”.

The organisers Paddy Graham, Ken Ryan and Daire Maher have all put in a huge amount of effort to ensure the event runs smoothly at it’s new home: “This gives us a great opportunity to grow and develop the show with Truckers foremost in our minds.

This does of course mean that they will no longer be part of the Dualla Show (which is taking place on a different date in Dualla).

The organisers said “we wish all at the Dualla show the very best for 2024 and thank them for a great nine years”.

10th ANNIVERSARY:
2024 is the 10th show in total. “We are both excited and proud to reach this milestone on our first solo show and it comes with massive thanks to all those in the Trucking community. Without the support of every single one of you, this simply would not be possible. That includes all our sponsors, particularly our title sponsor again this year, Dennison Trailers,” the organisers said.

Paddy Graham has put in a huge amount of work ahead of the new look show in Holycross and he is looking forward to this year being a big success with a huge number of trucks on show and scheduled to attend.

VENDORS
As always, some of the very best vendors on site over the weekend. “From truck accessories and clothing to sports equipment, a huge effort has been put in ensuring the best and most relevant vendors are on site. This also goes for food vendors,” the organisers said.

“We will have a large selection of food offerings on site. We can assure you everyone will have a great choice available to them, including the annual Saturday evening truckers BBQ.

ENTERTAINMENT
You can’t have a truck show without some great live music, and the organisers are delighted to welcome back ‘matrimony’ to this years show.

After getting the crowd going last year with all the favourite classics they are back again this year.

Paddy Graham says there is plenty for everyone at the show: “for the first time we will also welcome the Terry Grant stunt show to our event for the weekend.

“Terry is a stunt driver who performs all over the world and has held many world records. Anyone who has seen Terry perform his stunt show will know just how much of a treat we all are in for. We will of course have fun-fair rides on site for the duration of the weekend also.

“The RSA will be on hand with their shuttle team for education around road safety. A local branch of the Fire Brigade will also be on hand conducting education around road safety and road traffic accidents.”

TRACTOR SHOW AND SHINE

“This year, along with the main truck show, we will also have a Tractor Show and Shine competition. We have already been contacted by several people who are planning to bring some very impressive Tractors for the weekend.

“We have no doubt the Tractor show is going to be hotly contested. This will be complimented by the presence of the full ‘Grassmen’ team including their projection screen showing their fantastic footage over the weekend.

“This year’s show is shaping up to be our best yet, it really is a show not to be missed with a great mix of music and attractions which make it a great event for all the family.

“We look forward to welcoming you all back to the premier county for a celebration like no other. Please keep an eye on our social media pages and our website for all further information,”

Tickets for public entry will be available to purchase on the gate on the day. A big crowd is expected.
