Clonmel Community Choir returns to action
Clonmel Community Choir is coming back for its first full year this Wednesday, September 4.
Having formed last January off the back of the hugely successful ‘From Out The Land’ Citizens ensemble, the choir spent the winter-into-summer months finding its feet and figuring out what direction it would take off in.
This September is it’s coming of age. “We’ve found our feet and now it's time to truly find our voices”, said Kate Twohig, musical director of the choir.
FIRST CONCERT
This term they have planned a repertoire of upbeat and uplifting music, their first concert in November, nights out and social events and ways to give back to the community!
If you are thinking about returning, or signing up for the first time, head to Facebook or Instagram and find Clonmel Community Choir.
Rehearsals take place on a Wednesday night from 7.30pm - 9pm at the CTI/Gael Choláiste school, across from Kickham Plaza.
The first session is on Wednesday September 4th and is free to everyone to try it out and see if they like to join a non-competitive social choir.
You are very welcome to come along on the night.
