Friday October 25 saw the Roscrea Shopping Centre host the Roscrea Trunk or Treat event for Autism Awareness.
This is an annual event for those with Autism and neurodiversity living in the Roscrea community to enjoy Halloween in a sensory friendly environment.
On the night, many characters were in attendance, from Witches to Minions, Pirates to Pokemon, Cookie Monster to Big Bird and even Dorothy and her friends from the Wizard of Oz, brought to the event by the Lions Club of Roscrea.
All those who attended were able to move from place to place and visit each character in their own time and enjoy some treats as they went along.
The organisers thank all our volunteers who made the night such a successc, as well as to Milke Edwards who, as ever, was on hand in case of any First Aid emergencies.
They also wished to thank all of the traders in the shopping centre who allowed them to decorate their shop fronts for the event, to Bowes Ryan Cafe who were on hand with refreshments for the evening, and to Mark Deveraux and Donnacha who gave them help and guidance in the run up to the event.
They say they were delighted to have photographer James from Moments_by_moloughney on hand to create some fantastic photos of the event.
