REVEALED: Shocking number of people seeking homeless shelter in Tipperary

The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage has released its latest homelessness report with recorded figures for the week of December 23 to 29 2024. 

In this document, Tipperary is reported to have 57 adults accessing emergency accommodation during this period.

This figure is down from 73 from November's figure for the county.

There were 300 adults accessing emergency accommodation in total in the South East region in December, 176 of whom were male while 124 were female.

The total amount of adults accessing emergency accommodation throughout the country for this period was 10,354.
