In a statement released today, Councillor Declan Burgess says he is thrilled with the announcement.
He said: "I am delighted to secure €80,000 of funding under the 2025 Safety Improvement Scheme.

"I was proud to support the school and residents here in improving the pedestrian movement at this side of the village. Well done to everyone involved for championing this project and I want to thank the council engineers who have engaged with me from the start.
