Tipperary woman among prize winners at international make-up awards

The Phoenix World Championship has announced the winners of its inaugural 2025 competition, honouring the world’s leading talent in Permanent Makeup.

These prestigious awards celebrate artists from Europe and the USA who have shown exceptional dedication, artistry, and innovation in advancing the PMU industry.

The winners represent a broad and diverse spectrum of clinics and practitioners, all of whom share a steadfast commitment to delivering outstanding service and pushing creative boundaries in their field.

This year’s competition was conducted as an online campaign, culminating in the official announcement of winners on the evening of April 9, 2025.

Among the finalists was Lisa Cohalan of Cappawhite, who competed in the PRO Powder Shading category, designated for PMU artists with over 10 years of experience.

In a highly competitive field, Lisa earned finished in third place, solidifying her reputation as a top-tier expert in Powder Brows.

Commenting on her achievement, Lisa said: “I am absolutely delighted to receive this international recognition. Competing alongside the world’s leading Permanent Makeup Artists and being acknowledged in the Pro Artist senior category is a tremendous honour.”
