Fethard residents were stirred in the early hours of the morning as unusual figures prowled a local estate in the town.
Around 3am, CCTV footage captured a gang of men appearing to inspect houses for security systems.

At one point in the video, they are heard mentioning "Ring Doorbell", suggesting they were taking note of properties equipped with security systems and cameras.

One social media user described the incident as "very suspicious. They had no reason to be there."
