Daniel Carr
The death has occurred of Daniel Carr, Corbally, Portroe, Nenagh, who passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr Carr was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (née Hogan), his parents, and his brothers Seán and Michael.

He will be deeply missed by his son Donal, sisters Margaret and Nora, daughter-in-law Eimear, cherished granddaughter Emily, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Nenagh on Wednesday evening from 5pm to 7pm, Daniel’s remains will arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Portroe on Thursday, March 26, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family has extended sincere thanks to Dan’s carers and neighbours, as well as to the staff of Nenagh Hospital and University Hospital Limerick, for their care and kindness to him in recent weeks and over the years.
Condolences
Tributes have been pouring in from the local community, reflecting the high esteem in which Mr Carr was held.
One mourner said: “Our deepest sympathies to you Donal on the passing of your dad, also to Eimear, Emily and the extended Carr family. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. May Dan rest in peace.”
Another tribute read: “Sincere condolences to Donal, Eimear, Emily and all the Carr family on the passing of Dan. A bed of heaven to him. Always remembered and never forgotten. In our thoughts and prayers.”
A further message stated: “Sincere sympathy to Donal on the sad loss of your Father ,a Gentleman, may he rest in peace.”
Another person added: “Sincere condolences to Emily, Eimear, Donal and family on the passing of Dan Senior. May he rest in peace. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.”
Michael Lowry TD also expressed sympathy, saying: “Condolences to Daniel's friends and family on his sad passing. May his soul rest in peace.”
