Tipperary team to take on All-Ireland champions Limerick announced

The Tipperary team to play Limerick in the Bord Gáis Energy Munster U21 Hurling Semi-final this Thursday night in Semple Stadium at 7.30pm has been announced by manager William Maher.

In his fourth year at the grade Ronan Maher (in picture) captains the side. Elsewhere, it's a third term for Annacarty'sTom Fox and Barry Heffernan of Nenagh Eire Og while Billy McCarthy (Sarsfields) and Willie Connors (Kiladangan) are the other stalwarts from last year.

Tipp's starting 15 for tonight's game comprises eleven in total from the 2015 match day squad and they line out as follows;

1. Brian Hogan - Lorrha-Dorrha

2. Paul Maher - Kilsheelan-Kilcash

3. Tom Fox - Éire Óg Annacarty

4. David Sweeney - Kiladangan

5. Barry Heffernan - Nenagh Éire Óg

6. Ronan Maher (Capt.) - Thurles Sarsfields

7. Sean Ryan - Sean Treacy's

8. Billy McCarthy - Thurles Sarsfields

9. Andrew Coffey - Nenagh Éire Óg

10. Jack Shelly - Mullinahone

11. Stephen Quirke - Moyle Rovers

12. Josh Keane - Golden-Kilfeacle

13. Conor Lanigan - Thurles Sarsfields

14. Mark Russell - Lattin Cullen

15. Willie Connors - Kiladangan
