A detail from Siobhan Leonard's Drift
Cloughjordan-based artist Siobhan Leonard's exhibition, Landlines, will open in the Leitrim Design House this Thursday, October 27.
Siobhan's paintings are abstract in nature, creating ethereal spaces of emotional connection to a reminiscent landscape.
Siobhán started her artistic career at Limerick College of Art and Design, where she studied Fashion Design before going on to work in photography for 12 years.
She returned to study Fine Art at GMIT Galway and soon after moved to Brussels in 2006. She worked and exhibited in Belgium for six years and returned to Ireland in 2012 to set up her studio and gallery, Windmill Studio, in Cloughjordan.
The launch evening will feature another artist from Nenagh, musician Brian Morrissey, who will join Caoimhin Vallely Niall Vallely and Ed Boyd, for Buille in the Dock.
Siobhan's launch is at 7.30pm, with Buille starting at 8.30pm.
