Ballingarry woman Sr. Patricia Wall took part in a skydive four years ago to help local charities.
Now she has been nominated for the "Community Hero" award which is part of the inaugural Charity Impact Awards ,a lifetime achievement award presented by Volunteer Ireland* and The Wheel.
Sr.Patricia was nominated by the three local centres she is involved with - Slieveardagh Rural Development Ltd Killenaule, Millennium Family Resource Centre, Glengoole and Ballingarry C.I.T.E.

In May 2013 Sr. Patricia turned 75 and she wanted to mark the occasion by doing something extraordinary and beneficial to local charities through major fundraising efforts. Along with the assistance of Sky Dive Ireland, Sr.Patricia made it her mission to complete the successful skydive.
