Roads and Parking Measures called for at Council

Roads and parking in the greater Cashel area were raised at the recent meeting of Cashel Tipperary Municipal Dictrict Council.

Cllr Michael Fitzgerald called for improved road markings at the Racecourse Cross, Cashel, and also at New Inn’s Boy’s National School, where the rumble strips are worn away and road safety is an issue with parents and teachers.

Cllr Michael Fitzgerald aldo called for a fence near the area of Ardmayle Graveyard in order to prevent illegal parking and anti-social activity.

The Golden councillor's third suggestion to improve road safety was:“this Council consider acquiring extra car parking adjacent to the current car park in Clonoulty Village. It would improve safety and lessen the potential of a serious accident.”
