All of the major retailers and discount stores in Tipperary have remaiend closed today, Frida, due to the atrocious weather conditions.
With snow still falling heavily around the county, Tesco, Dunnes and Lidl all keeping their doors shut.
Aldi are monitoring the situation and will issue a list of shops that will reopen. Shops are scheduled to reopen at around 5pm in some areas.
Some smaller stores may reopen later, but Nenagh has been described as quiet with little or no traffic or footfall around the town.
