Met Eireann has extended its Status Orange snow / ice alert Tipperary until 12 noon this Monday, March 5, as widespread lying snow and ice will continue to lead to hazardous conditions.
Tipperary County Council has warned that there will be a risk of localised flooding due to rising river levels and there will be areas of surface water pooling.
Mountainous catchments and urban areas most affected.
Meanwhile, life was returning to normal this Sunday with most major retailers open following overnight deliveries.
Transport network are also offering services but the Ballybrophy to Limerick rail line which serves, Roscrea, Cloughjordan, Nenagh and Birdhill will not resume until March 5.
The Limerick Juntion to Waterford line, which serves the south of the county will also resume services on Monday, March 5.
