The warning also covers Waterford, Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Cork and Waterford
Widespread lying snow and ice will continue to lead to hazardous conditions.
There will be a risk of localised flooding due to rising river levels and there will be areas of surface water pooling. Mountainous catchments and urban areas most affected.
Aa Roadwatch report that roads are wet in most areas this morning and this has resulted in a gradual thaw, with conditions improving on many routes at this stage.
Snow and ice remain an issue in some areas and road users are advised to stick to the main routes. Secondary routes and hills are still impassable in many places.
There's fog around Nenagh and on stretches of the Clonmel to Dungarvan road.
Use your fog lights in the affected areas but be sure to switch them off afterwards.
