Another big Lotto win in Clonmel
Clonmel’s remarkable run of big lottery wins has continued with another €500,000 win in Friday’s Euro Millions draw.
The winning Euro Millions Plus ticket was sold at Prior Park Service Station in the town.
A spokesperson at the busy shop across from the railway station said they have had a number of winners before but nothing on this scale.
They don’t know yet when the ticket was bought but are hoping it will be a local winner.
“We have a very busy local trade so hopefully it is someone we know”, she said.
Two weeks ago another Clonmel shop, Bergins in Parnell Street, also sold a winning €500,000 ticket.
