In his hand is an entry by 14-year old Zuzanna Staron, from Presentation Secondary School, Thurles, entitled ‘Delicate’ and another by 12-year old Olesja Glushak, from St. Oliver Plunkett’s National School, Clonmel, entitled ‘Eye Of The Jungle’.

Some 604 students from the county are amongst those from all parts of Ireland who are taking part in the Competition – the 64th year of the event.

Prizes will be presented at a ceremony that takes place in Dublin in May.
