Tipperary Weather: Level Yellow snow alert issued by Met Eireann

Snow and severe frost to hit Longford as Status Yellow Weather warning issued

A status yellow snow warning is in place for Sunday

Tipperary could be looking at more snowy weather this weekend!

Met Eireann have this evening, Friday, issued a Status Yellow Snow-Ice Warning for Tipperary.

The warning is in effect from Saturday, March 17, at 12noon, to Monday, March 19 at 9am.

There is an even higher risk for the south of the county as a Weather Warning: Code Level Orange for snow on Sunday has been issued for  county Waterford.

According to Met Eireann there will be scattered heavy snow showers that will lead to accumulations in places and some drifting.

This warning is valid from 3am on Sunday March 18 until 12noon on Sunday.
