En garde: Nenagh fencing club to hold fencing camp over Easter

Munster Blades Fenicng Club in Nenagh is holding a week-long fencing camp in Nenagh over the Easter holidays.

The camp will run from Tuesday, April 4, to Friday, April 6, in Nenagh CBS hall, starting at 10am and running to 4pm, with a lunch break.

The camp will introduce beginners to correct footwork, distance control, blade work, etiquette and sparing ahead of a friendly competition on the last day.

The coaching is for boys and girls between 10 and 18 years and participants.

The cost is €90 (€75 for existing club members and there are reductions for siblings). Equipment will be provided, and participants are asked to wear indoor trainers and a comfortable tracksuit with zipped pockets or no pockets. Bring your own lunch and plenty of water.
